Crowns & Bridges

A dental crown or cap is a tooth-shaped cover that is placed over a weakened or damaged tooth to restore its natural appearance and prevent further damage.

A dental bridge consists of an artificial tooth connected to a set of crowns used to fill a gap created by one or more missing teeth.

Crowns and bridges provide a long term solution to restoring the function of your teeth and enhancing the appearance of your smile. These are made of full metal, full porcelain/ceramic or a combination of both.

When are crowns and bridges needed?

- Severely chipped or broken teeth, trauma cases.

- To cover the tooth following root canal treatment.

- Fill gaps when tooth is lost due to gum disease or tooth decay.

- To replace a large, old filling.

- Cosmetic reasons.

Because all crowns and bridges are custom made for each patient, it may take more than one appointment to complete.

With proper oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, crowns and bridges can solve the problem created by missing and damaged teeth and last for years to come!
